The double continuous casting production line includes two sets of two-strand slab continuous casting machines which are newly introduced from Voestalpine. The main task of this working procedure is to cool and solidify the high-temperature molten steel into slabs with certain sizes through the continuous casting machine. After that, the slabs will be delivered to the next working procedure and rolled into thinner finished steel coils. In 2017, the Company independently developed and applied the technology of continuous casting with unmanned steel-pouring, and realized the first continuous casting production line in China with unmanned steel-pouring. With the centralized control center put into operation and the pouring robots on the line, the No. 2 steel-making production line was awarded the title of "Intelligent demonstration workshop in Jiangsu Province" in 2019.
